Detail Layer#
The Detail Layer tool tags rebars with a detail family to indicate its layer. The desired detail family can be set on the Details tab in the Settings dialog. The default detail family “SOFiSTiK_Detail_Layer” provides different family types with different styles.
Activate the view in which you want to detail a rebar.
Click Reinforcement tab
Tag and Detail panel 
(Detail Layer) Select a rebar to indicate its layer.
Tip
The Detail Layer tool handles visibility parameters to show symbols for bar bents away from - and towards viewer. You can check these parameters in the properties palette of the provided default detail family SOFiSTiK_Detail_Layer.
Tip
You can also use the Detail Layer tool with Family Type Text_Style to show the marks of varying rebar sets:
