Contains all important commands that are frequently used:

• Start a calculation

Ribbon group: Calculation

Icon	Title	Description
	Calculation	Start the program Calculation from Text Editor (Teddy).
	Calculation	Run immediately the calculation of all active modules. Active modules are always marked with sign.
	Current Module	Run immediately the calculation of the current selected module.

Ribbon group: Postprocessing

Icon	Title	Description
	System	Open the program System Visualization to visualize system, displacements, stresses, etc.
	Viewer	Open the program FEA Viewer to visualize system, displacements, internal forces, etc.
	Graphic	Open Graphic to visualize the FE results and create plots.
	Result	Open Result Viewer for tabular representation of results, create diagram plots, view cross section results, export data to Excel, join different results, etc.
	Report	Open the created output by using the program Report.

Ribbon group: Tools

Icon	Title	Description
	Database Tools	A drop-down list of all important tools of SOFiSTiK database. Export to DAT Export the database content to a DAT file. IFC Export Export the database content to a file with an IFC format. Database Information The database information is a SOFiSTiK database viewer. The tools provides and shows the content of the CDB. The data is organized by using key records. Database Backup Backup only a specific parts of the database. Clean Locks In case a databased is locked. Then it is required to unlock it by cleaning the locks. Locking of the database mostly occurs in case some unexpected errors appears while writing or reading data into CDB. Database Clean Clean and remove from the database only specific data, e.g. loadcases, materials, cross-sections, etc. Just check the checkbox in front of the desired data label.
	Clean	By using the clean dialog, you may delete all files of specific extension. In some cases, the file cannot be deleted if it is active. E.g. the database can be removed only if not used.
	Archive	By using the archive dialog, it is possible to automatically ZIP (archive) the project files. The archived files can be also send via E-Mail. Just check the checkbox at “ Send file via E-Mail”.
	Explorer	Open the project folder.
	Command Shell	Open the Command Shell. If you open the Command Shell from a SOFiSTiK application. Then the installation folder is automatically added to the environment path. This means that you can call the SOFiSTiK executables and files directly, without required to write a full path.
	Protocols	Open the important output files of Teddy. DAT file DAT is the input file. ERG file Open the created ERG file. The ERG file represents the text version of a PLB file. PRT file Open the created PRT file. At PRT file, the protocol information of the calculation is saved. LST file Open the created LST file. The LST file is similar to ERG, it just shows the output of last calculated module.

Ribbon group: Clipboard

Icon	Title	Description
	Cut	Remove the selection and put it the clipboard, so you can paste it somewhere else.
	Copy	Put the copy of the selection in the clipboard, so you can paste it somewhere else.
	Paste	Add content from the clipboard to your document.

Ribbon group: Find

Icon	Title	Description
	Find	Find text in the document.
	Replace	Search for text you would like to change, and replace it.
	Find in Files	Find text in multiple files from a specific folder. Please note that files from subfolders are neglected at current state of software.
