Calculates the cross section values of the created cross section and writes these into the shadow database (.SDB) file.
After successful calculation, the updated positions of the centre of elasticity (C), the shear centre (SC) and the principal axes are displayed graphically in the Cross Section Editor.
Depending on the cross section type/running mode and the settings in the dialog of the properties of the cross section, automatically generated cross section elements such as shear cuts and stress points are be displayed.
If warnings or errors occurred during the calculation, the sidebar switches automatically to the tab ‘Messages’ where the warnings/errors are shown. A link from the message (similar to those in SOFiPLUS(-X)) to the relevant cross section element is not supported yet. If the cause of the error has been resolved, then a message appears that the calculation was successful.
In order to provide results for use in other SOFiSTiK module, e.g. the Result Viewer, the drawing have to be saved additionally.
