Required license and DLLs

For reading and writing to the CDBase no license is necessary for the sof_cdb_w-2024.dll (Excel 64-bit) and cdb_w31.dll (Excel 32-bit).

The sof_q-2024.dll (Excel 64-bit) and sof_q31.dll (Excel 32-bit) requires a license and without the license you won’t be able to use the functions.

The DLLs can be found in following directories:

C:\<sofistik_installation>\2024\SOFiSTiK 2024\interfaces\32bit
C:\<sofistik_installation>\2024\SOFiSTiK 2024\interfaces\32bit_debug
C:\<sofistik_installation>\2024\SOFiSTiK 2024\interfaces\64bit
C:\<sofistik_installation>\2024\SOFiSTiK 2024\interfaces\64bit_debug

In case you are using an educational license you should use the DLLs with the suffix _edu.

E.g. for 64-bit DLLs (<sofistik_installation_path>/interfaces/64bit)
