Modifies properties of edges of structural areas.

Modifies properties of edges of structural areas.

This can be used to control the thickness of the structural area and the connection between areas, e.g. when two adjacent areas require a hinge between them because there is no moment connection.

Edge properties could also be modified with command Structural Area.

To support a boundary, an additional structural line has to be created at that place.

Note

This command affects to each chosen area. This may result in a chain of hinges e.g. with hinges at two areas side by side. Therefore it may be useful to display a selection of areas whose edges are to be modified before using this command.
