Introduction

The SOFiSTiK Rhino Interface provides a direct link between Rhino, Grasshopper, and the SOFiSTiK finite element analysis environment. It enables users to create, manage, and export analytical models based on Rhino geometry or parametric Grasshopper definitions, ensuring a smooth workflow from design to structural analysis. It works by enhancing native Rhino geometry with added structural attributes like supports, cross-sections and materials, turning points, lines and surfaces into analytical elements. Grasshopper adds parametric modeling capabilities, enabling the creation and management of complex, adaptable structural models.
