Service Pack 2026-2 (09 December 2025)#
Tendon Manager#
The commands to copy and clone tendon geometries in the Tendon Manager have been implemented expanded. It is now possible to copy / clone tendon geometries as an array.
In this way e.g. prefabricated beams can be created fast and comfortable.
Structural Elements#
Edges on structural areas: in addition to the hinges, all other edge properties are now also visualized if they have been assigned.
Fixed issue: the ID of a Bridge Bearing must not contain umlauts (242235).
Cross Section Editor#
With a closed command line, a crash could occur during the calculation of cross-sections (239001, 239213).
When using screens with different scaling factors, the header of the cross section editor was not displayed correctly.
Handling / Usability#
When opening an SSD project from within the SOFiPLUS(-X) drawing, combination rules could be lost (243169).
Drawings with many axes and tendon elements took a long time to be opened (243355).
Service Pack 2026-1 (21 October 2025)#
Axis Based Workflow#
The graphic area and the scaling behavior in the variables and vertical alignment dialogs have been revised.
Drawn Axes
Improved the performance for drawn axes in mm systems.
For drawn axes there is an new command replace geometry in the contextmenu of the sidebar to update or reassign the basic geometry.
Tendon Manager#
The commands to copy and clone tendon geometries have been implemented in the Tendon Manager. There are new icons in the header of the geometries tab table.
Tools#
New option Consider interpolation of cross section on different axes in the mesh generation dialog.
Structural Elements#
Edges on structural areas show the designation of the coordinate system directions in addition to the arrow.

Design Elements
Implemented the new element type Continuous Beam for design elements to support the beam design workflow.
Structural Areas
The connection between two structural areas has switched from an axial and a transversal direction to now three local directions. Additionally two rotational springs round local y and z are added.
The dialog for command Area Edge Properties has been renewed, the structural areas edges tab has been removed.
Note
Transversal spring elements are upgraded and imported as axial spring elements in local y and z direction.
To enable the assignment of an egde to an structural area, all edges of structural areas are marked with a little line parallel to the edge after starting the command.
Loads#
Additionally to the well known import of support reactions from a calculated cdb as point loads there is a new option to import the support reactions as distributed line loads.
With the new option Line load transmission within the command Import Support Reactions the possibilities of SOFiLOAD command ‘LTD – Load Take Down’ are supported.
There are three options to import distributed line loads:
Constant - SOFiLOAD option CONS: import of constant line loads. The sum of forces is conserved.
Positive-trapezoidal - SOFiLOAD option TRAP: import of trapezoidal line loads. All values are positive, there are no lifting forces.
Trapezoidal - SOFiLOAD option MOMT: import of trapezoidal line loads.
Prestressing#
Tendon Manager
The commands to erase tendon elements have been implemented in the Tendon Manager. It is now possible to delete multiple tendon geometries or tendon elements in one step (multiedit).
Axis Based Workflow#
The various geometry operations regarding axis, secondary axes and placement alignment have been improved. The graphic areas in the dialogs have been revised.
Compatibility#
SOFiPLUS/SOFiPLUS-X 2026 can open DWG files from version 2018. After saving in version 2026, the DWG files cannot be re-opened in the older version!
SOFiPLUS/SOFiPLUS-X 2026 can import projects from a .cdb file of version 2026 only.
SOFiPLUS/SOFiPLUS-X may have to convert and/or upgrade data when opening a DWG. Any issues, warnings or errors will be displayed in the Messages tab in the sidebar.
