Analytical Elements Geometry

The following parameters are used during Generate. They allow to tweak the optimization of the geometry of the analytical model:

Local Coordinate System of Walls	Influence the orientation of the local coordinate system for analytical panels for Model Category: Wall [3]	None
Local Coordinate System of Floors	Influence the orientation of the local coordinate system for analytical panels for Model Category: Floor [4]	None
Update Local Coordinate System	The local coordinate system of existing analytical panels with a valid association is updated during the Generate step. The current condition of the associated physical elements and the above rules for the local coordinate system of walls applies.	None
Columns Geometry Note These settings are available for SOFiSTiK Analytical Model Generator 2026 Service Pack 1 and below. For newer versions, see Analytical Representation for the replacement mechanism.
Wide Columns - Minimum Section Ratio	Minimum section ratio of a column to be treated as a Wide Column [2].	None
Create Analytical Panels for Columns	Column should be represented by an analytical panel instead of an analytical member.	Boolean
Minimum Section Ratio	Minimum section ratio to represent a Wide Column [2] as an analytical panel instead of an analytical member.	None
