This section focuses on functionality of the feature “preserve the rigid diaphragm stiffnesses” upon exporting the model. The feature enables us to carry out a comparative study on conformity of the real model with the assumption of rigid diaphragm response of the storey slabs. This will be explained in detail in the following video.

On activation of the option “preserve the rigid diaphragm stiffnesses”, it will be effective for all analyses carried out downstream (e.g., calculation of single load cases, dynamic eigenmode analysis).
