Main new Features#
We are happy to present you the main updates and features in a short overview.
Important
Starting with major version SOFiSTiK Reinforcement 2025 Set Marks tool will use the SOFiSTiK_Mark instead of Revit Mark parameter to manage the reinforcement marks in the projekt. See upgrade information.
Warnings in Reinforcement Browser#
The Reinforcement Browser is further enhanced with a new feature for recognizing reinforcement issues.
As soon as an issue is encounter, the user is made aware of the situation and a warning symbol will be attached to the corresponding mark. The mark stays highlighted with the warning symbol until the issue is solved.
A tool-tip pops up with a short problem description, when hovering over an issue. With a right-click on the affected mark in reinforcement browser, you will get detailed information and also some suggestions, how to solve the problem.
Hint
Based on the importance of the issues, the schedule is prevented to be produced or not. 
Warnings won’t prevent exporting information for production. 
Errors instead will do prevent the export of schedules.
Override#
Override is the new tool that edits and overrides the rebar set with the purpose to simplify its geometry for production into a two-dimensional shape.
Explode Reinforcement Area Systems#
Varying rebar sets inside the Reinforcement Area Systems are exploded with Explode tool from SOFiSTiK Reinforcement in Shape Driven rebars. Having shape driven rebar sets instead of free form, will ease the possible later adjustments.
Chair Spacer in Varying Hosts#
The Chair Spacer is now supported in varying floors, foundation and generic model elements. It’s export in BVBS Format and DOCX schedule is also supported.
