Override#
The Override tool overrides the rebar set geometry and simplifies it to a two-dimensional shape.
Activate the view in which you want to override rebars.
Click Reinforcement tab
Modify panel 
(Override) Select a varying rebar set to override.The override dialog displays.
Choose your preferred settings and click OK.
Note
Delta Total Length value is a controlling mechanism. In case of a shape that has to respect exactly the total length in the model, Delta Total Length has to be zero. The Admitted Values to Delta Total Length are to be set in the Settings Dialog. If the overriden total length is higher than the established limits, it will be written in red color.
Model Rebar Set information#
In this area will be presented all the time the geometry information about the rebar set and the state of the set.
Caution
Override tool will not change the model geometry. In an IFC - coordination view export will be all the time the original geometry and not the edited one. If you want ot export the overriden values in IFC data, you have to make sure to pick the corresponding “SOFiSTiK_Parameter” for export.
Edit Rebar Set#
The following options allows you to alter the geometric properties of the rebar set.
Hint
For Custom Shapes (e.g. shape 99 according EN ISO 3766) you can add or remove segments from the 
/ 
buttons. You can multiselect and right click then merge segments or single select then right click and pick merge with previous/next.
Browse Submarks#
In the bottom left side of the dialog you can jump to a desired submark to compare the overriden values with the ones in the model. Or you can simply jump to the next submark with different number of segments compaired to the first submark.
