User Interface#
The Viewer interface consists of the following main components:

All UI components are ignored when taking screenshots, except the view cube and the result summary window.
View Cube#
The interactive view cube allows to quickly navigate from one 3D view to another. When the mouse cursor is close to it, a home button will appear near to it: Clicking the button resets the camera position and performs a zoom extents. Use
to turn the view cube on and off.See also

Context Toolbar#
The context bar contains the following tools:
Open a SOFiSTiK database in the Viewer
Open a recently opened database
Close the current opened database
Synchronize the Viewer and update the visualization, see also Update the Viewer
Open/close the load cases and results overview window, see also Get an Overview of Existing Load Cases and Show and Animate the Deformed FE Structure
Open/close the quick group filtering window, see also Filter the Model by Groups.
Open the help menu
Hint
The first three features (open/recently opened/close) are only available from the Viewer standalone version, not from the Viewer integrated in SSD.
Vertical Toolbar#
Use the vertical toolbar to access to the following settings and tools:
General settings of the Viewer, e.g. visibility of the view cube and origin symbol, background settings…

Hint
The towers and storey levels menu is accessible only is the model contains any of them.
Result Summary#
The result summary toolbar provides an overview of the active result, including the associated load case (with its reaction forces) and the minimum and maximum result values. Below the toolbar, a color map is displayed. Right-click RMB on the color map to access customization options.
