Viewer#
Introduction#
The Viewer is the SOFiSTiK interactive visual post-processing tool. Launched with version 2025, the Viewer is still in its early stages and will continue to evolve with new features over time. The current main features of the Viewer are:
Explore and control the FE model with ease
Visualize and animate the deformed FE structure
Filter the model by primary and secondary groups in real time
Visually inspect generated tendons, design elements, towers and storey levels
Experience high performance powered by state-of-the-art modern graphic technology
General information:
Hint
The Viewer 2025 replaces the program System Visualization 2025, which is still included within SOFiSTiK FEA 2025.

Graphics Compatibility#
The Viewer uses modern graphical technologies that offer broad compatibility. It can run on high-performance local GPUs, low-powered mobile GPUs, and even over RDP (‘Remote Desktop Protocol’) connections. The Viewer automatically selects the appropriate graphics API (OpenGL, OpenGL ES, Direct3D 9, Direct3D 11, Vulkan). If no GPU is available, Microsoft’s software renderer (Direct3D WARP) can be used.
