Control Tendons#

If some tendons are defined in the project, you can access to duct/tendon settings in the Advanced Settings of the FE model settings (tab viewer_fe_concept_small).

The following components can be visualized:

  • Duct volume

  • Duct axis

  • Tendon volume

  • Tendon axis

  • Tendon anchoring

Use the component control table to:

  • Toggle the visibility of duct/tendon volumes with viewer_tnd_tendon_volume_small.

  • Toggle the visibility of duct/tendon axes with viewer_tnd_tendon_axis_small.

  • Adjust the line width for duct/tendon axes with viewer_resize_small.

  • Adjust the size of tendon anchoring symbols with viewer_resize_small.

  • Adjust colors with color_palette_small.

The result of the intersection with the FE model performed by the module TENDON can be controlled by activating/deactivating the duct/tendon volume visibility typewise. Thus, you can identify the tendon portions belonging to FE beam or quad elements.

Attention

The duct/tendon volume rendering is based on the prestressing system. The number of tendon factor (NTEN) isn’t considered for rendering.
