Start calculation via Ribbon Menu#

Open program Calculation#

You can start the calculation by starting the program execute_wps_small Calculation from the ribbon menu.

  1. teddy_small Teddy Text Editor

  2. ‘Home’ ribbon

  3. execute_wps_large Calculation

Tip

The fastest way to open the program execute_wps_small is to use keyboard shortcuts. By pressing the key F12 the program execute_wps_small Calculation will start within teddy_small Teddy.

Start calculation immediately#

If you have opened a DAT file and want to run it immediately. Then you can do it by following:

  1. teddy_small Teddy Text Editor

  2. ‘Home’ ribbon

  3. execute_wps_immediately_small Immediately

This will start the program execute_wps_small Calculation and close it immediately when it finished. All PROG / Modules that are marked with plus_small will be calculated.

Tip

The fastest way to start immediately a calculation within Teddy is to use the keyboard shortcuts. By pressing the keys combination Ctrl + F12, the immediately calculation will be started.

Start calculation of current module#

If you have opened a DAT file and want to run only one module. Then follow these steps:

  1. The cursor position should be set at the module that you want to calculate.

  2. ‘Home’ ribbon

  3. execute_wps_current_small Current Module

Tip

The fastest way to run the current module within Teddy is to use the keyboard shortcut. By pressing the key combination Shift + F12, the calculation of current module will be started.

Start calculation via Module Tree#

Click with the right mouse button (right_mouse_button_small) on the PROG in the module_tree_small Module Tree. Then select execute_wps_current_small Execute:<PROG> and the calculation will be started.

If you want to manually run a command input (SYS), then click with the right mouse button (right_mouse_button_small) on the SYS, in the Tree Module. Then select SYS execute_wps_current_small Execute:SYS.

Hint

If the module tree is deactivated, then you can activate it by following:

  1. teddy_small Teddy (Text Editor) / ssd_small Structural Desktop

  2. ‘View’ ribbon

  3. user_interface_large User Interface

  4. Click on module_tree_small Module Tree
