Table

Important

This ribbon tab will only show up if a list/table item is selected in the document tree widget. Refer to our video below, which will try to explain the table ribbon behavior.

Contains all important commands regarding table operations:

• Copy and configured copy to clipboard.

• Edit: Sorting, hide/show columns, find in table, conditional formatting, rename table…

• Output: export to report (PLB) or Excel (XLSX) file with different additional properties.

Ribbon group: Clipboard

Icon	Title	Description
	Copy Selection	Copy selected elements from table to clipboard.
	Configured Copy	Copy configured format to clipboard. To configure the copy, run Configure command.
	Configure	Configure the configured copy command (format, extend, additional data...).

Ribbon group: Edit

Icon	Title	Description
	Sort	Set the sorting type of the table. Available options are: Ascending Descending Unsorted default A column selection is required for sorting. Sorting via context menu is also possible. Steps: Click on the column with the RMB Sorting Select: Ascending/Descending/Unsorted
	Columns	Hide/show columns.
	Find	A find dialog will show up. Via the dialog you can search data in the selected table.
	Rename	Rename column names. First select a column in the table and then click on 'Rename' command.
	Conditional Formatting	Activate conditional formatting for selected columns.

Ribbon group: Output

Icon	Title	Description
	Output to PLB	The table will be outputted to a PLB (Report) file. Use FILE ‘’Generate Report…’’ to generate a PLB file.
	Output to XLSX	The table will be outputted to a XLSX (Excel) file. Use FILE ‘’Export to XLSX’’ to export all (marked XLSX) tables to excel file(s).
	Settings (PLB Output)	Set the output settings for PLB/XLSX types. Depending on the output type, the setting dialog will change.
	Settings (XLSX Output)	Set the output settings for PLB/XLSX types. Depending on the output type, the setting dialog will change.

Ribbon group: Footer

Description
Configure footer row of the table. Following options are available: Minimum Maximum Total or Sum The footer settings can be also configured for PLB output via Settings.
