Splice Types#

You can modify the splice type settings or define a new splice type.

Settings#

Rebar#

  • Length: Define the maximum splice length (e.g. stock length).

  • Start from: Start/ End of the set (longitudinal rebar) - Start/ End of the rebar shape (transversal rebar) - Middle (symmetric).

  • According to: Splice length can be calculated based on the center line or the outer dimension.

  • Shift: Activate this option to shift the bars of spliced rebar sets in bar plane.

Lap#

  • Multiplier: Define the lap length as a rebar diameter multiplier.

  • Length: Define the lap length as a value.

Staggered#

  • Multiplier: Define the stagger length as a lap length multiplier.

  • Length: Define the stagger length as a value.

  • Alternate: Activate this option to apply an alternate splicing.
