Tendon Table#

Tendon Table (Create)#

Creates a table with distance values between selected reference and tendon according to the axis stations. Table can be created in form of Revit Schedules or inserted PDF file in Drafting View. You can place Tendon Table on your sheet for detailing purposes.

  1. Click SOFiSTiK Bridge tab > Shop Drawings panel > icon_Tendon_Table_Create (Tendon Table)

  2. Select a Tendon element

    SOFiSTiK: Tendon Table dialog displays.

  3. Activate tendons in cluster to create table, select path, stationing and other properties. Confirm with OK.

  4. Tendon Table with distances is created as Revit Schedule or drafting view and opened.

Path#

  • Start Parameter - defines start of the path for measurement of distances

  • End Parameter - defines end of the path for measurement of distances

Stationing#

  • Distribution rule - you can define the stations, at which the distance will be measured using layout rule

  • Placements - if activated, you can define the stations at given placements

Properties#

  • Name - you can define the name of the table using syntax (as by the Superstructure) or with any text

  • Base Reference - select an axis or an edge to define from which points should tendons be measured

  • Rotation X - you can define the rotation of the local coordinates of the Base Reference along the X axis. For example, tendons should be measured perpendicular to the sloped surface.

  • Orientation - decide whether the measurement should be orthogonal or vertical to the axis

  • Rotations - decide whether placement rotations should be taken into account or not

  • Relative Reference - decide whether the measurement should apply to the Center line, Upper bound or Lower bound of the tendon

  • Coordinate System - in case 3D Coordinates table is active, you can choose the coordinate system for tendon points

  • Output - decide whether the tables should be created as Key Schedules (Revit Schedule) or as External Files (imported PDF into Drafting View). Additionally, you can transpose the table from external file.

  • Category - in case Key Schedules are selected as output, you can select the category for the creation of Shared Parameters

  • Tables - you can select which tables should be created (U/V directions, 3D Coordinates)

Edit#

You can make any adjustments in the definition of created Tendon Tables.

  1. Activate (open) created Tendon Table > Click SOFiSTiK Bridge tab > Shop Drawings panel > icon_Tendon_Table_Edit (Edit)

  2. SOFiSTiK: Tendon Table dialog displays.

  3. You can change the definition and confirm with OK.

  4. Tendon Table will be recreated with new definition and opened.

Duplicate#

You can create a duplicate of any Tendon Table and make adjustments before generation.

  1. Activate (open) created Tendon Table > Click SOFiSTiK Bridge tab > Shop Drawings panel > icon_Tendon_Table_Duplicate (Duplicate)

  2. SOFiSTiK: Tendon Table dialog displays.

  3. You can change the definition and confirm with OK.

  4. New Tendon Table will be created and opened.

Refresh#

Tendon Tables are not updated automatically after the changes in the Tendon geometry or other element. However, you can refresh Tendon Table and recreate it with previously defined input.

  1. Activate (open) created Tendon Table > Click SOFiSTiK Bridge tab > Shop Drawings panel > icon_Tendon_Table_Refresh (Refresh)

  2. Tendon Table is updated and opened.
