Tag Elements#

By using this command, several elements can be tagged in one or more views. The settings for the tags are made for each category individually.

  1. Click BiMTOOLS tab > Label panel > element_tagging_16 (Tag Elements).

    The Tag Elements dialog displays.

  2. Enter the settings for the tags:

    Option

    Description

    Leader

    Activate, if you want the tag to have a leader line.

    Length [mm]

    Enter a value for the length of the leader.

    Alignment

    Select the location of the tag related to the element.

    Orientation

    Select vertical or horizontal orientation.

    Tag Type

    Choose the family type of the tag for each category.

    The “Concealed element” option gives the possibility to choose either “only visible elements” or “all elements in view” to be labeled in each view.

    Note

    If the Tag Type is - None - the elements won’t be tagged.

  3. Click “OK”.
