Adaptive Reference#
You can define the Point or Path Reference for the definition of the Tendon Basic geometry in SOFiSTiK: Tendon Dialog. Selected Point or Path will be extruded along the axis according to the parametrisation of the Adaptive (Profile) Family.
Point#
Creates Point Reference for Tendon Basis Geometry in an adaptive generic model family based on selected reference points. Each Tendon Point Reference is constrained to selected reference point. Parametrization of this reference point controls the position of the Tendon Point Reference along the axis.
Important
The adaptive generic model family must contain only one insertion point.
Open a Revit family “Metric Generic Model Adaptive.rft”.
In Family Editor click SOFiSTiK Bridge tab Prestressing panel Adaptive Reference Point.
Pick a reference Point and optionally define an ID (name).
Confirm with Enter or finish to create the shape.
Path#
Creates Path Reference for Tendon Basis Geometry in an adaptive generic model family based on selected reference points. Each Tendon Path Reference is constrained to selected line. Parametrization of this line controls the position of the Tendon Path Reference along the axis.
Important
The adaptive generic model family must contain only one insertion point.
Open a Revit family “Metric Generic Model Adaptive.rft”.
In Family Editor click SOFiSTiK Bridge tab Prestressing panel Adaptive Reference Path.
Pick a line and optionally define an ID (name).
Optionally you can define an offset for start/end segment of the Reference Path (trim/extend) and an offset of Reference Path to selected line. .
Confirm with Enter or finish to create the Reference Path.
Edit Adaptive Reference#
Modifies a previously created Adaptive Reference. You can override shape id, references, offsets .
In Family Editor click SOFiSTiK Bridge tab Prestressing panel Shape drop-down Edit.
Pick an existing shape.
Modify its Id, references, offsets, or bond type and confirm with finish.
The shape is updated according to the current definition.
Refresh Adaptive Reference#
Updates and adjusts all shapes after changes that affect the references or the offset parameters.
In Family Editor click SOFiSTiK Bridge tab Prestressing panel Adaptive Reference Refresh.
All Adaptive References (Point and Path) will be adjusted according to the current references.
Tip
You can activate the Dynamic Synchronisation and the shapes are updated automatically according to reference changes. SOFiSTiK Bridge tab Prestressing panel drop-down Dynamic Synchronisation.
