Geometric points of a cross section.

With the command ‘Geometry Point’ additional help points can be defined for the creation of the cross section with various references. Geometry points can be also used as reference points inside of the cross section (e.g. for the load generation).

The geometry points can be created completely independently of the defining elements, i.e. in contrast with stress points, the geometry points have not to be lie inside of the area of a boundary.

A detailed description of these properties can be found in the chapter ‘SPT - Points for Stresses’ of the manual AQUA. In contrast to a stress point a geometry point has only geometrical information.
